Scope and Contents: The records of the Southern Illinois Mayors Association consist of organizational files, including minutes of both Board of directors and General membership meetings, subject files, printed material, photographs and audio/visual material. The records reflect the organization’s activities relating to cooperative action in problem solving among the mayors of Southern Illinois beginning in 1975. Publications include the Municipal Affairs Bulletin, SIMA’s periodical newsletter.
